B.H.M.S. Community Medicine
Bachelor of Homoeopathic Medicine and Surgery in Community Medicine is an undergraduate Homoeopathy course. Community Medicine is branch of medicine that is concerned with the health of the members of a community, municipality, or region. The emphasis in community medicine is on the early diagnosis of disease, the recognition of environmental and occupational hazards to good health, and the prevention of disease in the community.The Bachelor of Homoeopathic Medicine and Surgery (BHMS) (Community Medicine) Degree course is of 4 1/2 years duration plus compulsory Internship of one year after passing the Final Degree Examination.
B.H.M.S. Community Medicine Course Eligibility
The aspirants must pass HSC (10+2) with a minimum of 50% or equivalent for applying the B.H.M.S program. It should be with Biology, Chemistry, English and Physics.
The admission is carried out on merit basis. Joint entrance test carried out for B.H.M.S program in some states along with BDS and MBBS exams. The applicants are selected based on their performance in the written exam. There may be interview also.
