B.H.M.S. Homoeopathic Pharmacy
Bachelor of Homoeopathic Medicine & Surgery in Homoeopathic Pharmacy is an undergraduate Homeopathy course. It is a five and a half years program or course that covers the basic and in depth study of the Homoeopathic medicinal system. The full 5 ½ years duration of the degree includes one year of internship also. The degree course covers the study of instruction that present general working knowledge of the homoeopathic pharmaceutical industry and administration of various preparations. The course has its main focus on the study of evolution and relationship of Homoeopathic Pharmacy to Organon and Materia Medica, the concept of drug Proving and Dynamisation. There are many colleges and universities which are providing this course in their campuses.
B.H.M.S. Homoeopathic Pharmacy Eligibility
The basic eligibility criteria for pursuing a B.H.M.S. (Homoeopathic Pharmacy) degree is qualifying 10+2 or equivalent examination, with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and preferably English as subjects studied, along with a reasonably high percentage of marks in the aggregate.
In some states there is a joint entrance exam for B.H.M.S. (Homoeopathic Pharmacy) along with the M.B.B.S. and B.D.S. tests.
Selection to the B.H.M.S. (Homoeopathic Pharmacy) degree course is based on marks secured in the final merit i.e. total marks aggregated in the final exams of 10+2 and the entrance exam.
