M.Ch. (G.I. Surgery) Master of Chirurgiae in G.I. Surgery

M.Ch. G.I. Surgery or Master of Chirurgiae in G.I. Surgery is a doctoral surgical medical course. Gastrointestinal Surgery or G.I. Surgery is a branch of medicine that covers all surgeries pertaining to hepatobiliary and gastrointestinal parts of human body inclusive of surgical oncology and pancreatic surgery for cancers on liver, colon, stomach, etc. During the course, candidates are provided with sound knowledge of surgical, investigative, diagnostic and clinical aspects of gastroenterology. The duration of M.Ch. (G.I. Surgery) is three years.

M.Ch. G.I. Surgery Eligibility

  • Candidates should have passed their M.S. in General Surgery or any other equivalent qualification from an institution approved by the Medical Council of India.
