Exam details

The all India Entrance Test 2014 referred as AIET - AYURVED 2014 is conducted for selection of candidates for admission to BAMS (Ayurved) Course conducted in constituent college of this University, situated in its campus at sector 7, Nerul, Navi Mumbai, 400 706, Maharashtra State,
Dr.D.Y.Patil College of Ayurved & Research Institute is recognized by Government of Maharashtra, Central Council of Indian Medicine (CCIM) & Dept. of AYUSH , Ministry of Health & family welfare, Govt. of India, New Delhi.
The Medium of Instruction for BAMS course is English.
Duration of the Course is four & half Year and one year rotating Internship.
An Admission Committee of the university steers the management of the admission process. The Admission Committee will be responsible for conduction of the entrance test, declaration of results, counseling and final admission to the B.A.M.S. course.
Eligibility crieteria

Candidates satisfying the following criteria shall be eligible to appear for AIETAYURVED 2014
1. Candidates must be Indian National.
The Nationality Certificate issued by the District Magistrate I Additional District Magistrate I Chief Metropolitan Magistrate or a valid Passport shall constitute proof of Nationality.
2. The candidate must be minimum 17 years old at the time of admission.
3. The candidate should have passed 10+2 examination with Physics, Chemistry, Biology with aggregate of 50% marks, for Reservation 40% marks aggregate in PCB of any statutory Board which confirm to Specification approved by CCIM or Any other equivalent qualification recognized by central Govt., central education board, State Govt. and State Educational Board concerned with examination.
Candidate who have appeared for H.S.C. or equivalent examination and whose result will be declared before the dates of Counseling will also be eligible to appear to AIET-AYURVED 2014
Exam pattern

The AIET - AYURVED 2014 will be of three hours duration. There will be one question paper at the Entrance Test in English medium containing 200 multiple choice questions (MCQs), 50 each in Physics, Chemistry, Botany and Zoology.

Each correct answer carries one mark.

There is no negative marking.

CBSC Delhi Board syllabus of 12th std will be applicable for entrance test. 

How to apply

AIET- AYURVED 2014 application form can be down load by visiting Website www.dypayurved.co.in or collect from college office at 3rd floor, Dr. D. Y. Patil College of Ayurved & Research Institute, Sector 7, Nerul, Navi Mumbai.
The fee for the Entrance Test is Rs. 2,000/-. The fee is payable by Cash / Demand Draft drawn in favour of  “Padmashree Dr.D. Y. Patil University”, on a Nationalized / Scheduled bank, payable at Navi Mumbai.
The candidates should write their full name, address and I.D. number on the reverse side of the Demand Draft. The last date for receipt of Demand Draft at the following address is up to 5.00 pm on 23rd September 2013.
With Late Fee of Rs. 500/- up to 5.00 pm on 30th September 2013.
It will be the responsibility of the candidate to ensure that his / her Demand Draft for fee reaches the office of the Coordinator of Admission Committee within the specified time and date. The Demand Draft received after the due date such candidates shall not be allowed to appear for the entrance test.
The Admission Committee : AIET- AYURVED 2014 will not be responsible for non-receipt of the Demand Draft within the specified time and date due to postal or courier service delays.
The annual tuition fees payable by the candidates admitted to BAMS course is as follows.
Tuition Fees per annum for the year 2013-14 is Rs.2, 50,000/- (Rs.Two lakhs fifty thousand only)
Tuition Fees per annum for the year 2013-14 is USD 25,000.
* The candidates in General Category who desire to be considered for admission against vacant seats in FN / PIO/ NRI category seats and who agree to be governed by the fee structure of this category seats.
The tuition Fees per annum  for the year 2013-14 is Rs.3, 50,000 (Rs.Three lakhs fifty thousand only). 
One Time Eligibility fees for the year 2013-14 is Rs 2000.
One Time Enrollment fees for the year 2013-14 is Rs. 2000.
Examination fees for the Academic year 2013-14 is Rs. 500 per subject
C) Mode of Payment :
The candidates will have to bring a demand draft of first year tuition fees drawn in favour of “Dr. D.Y. Patil College of Ayurved & Research Institute” payable at Navi Mumbai while reporting for counseling. Failing which the admission offered to them will be treated as cancelled. The request for extension of time limit for payment or to accept partial payment will not be entertained. The candidates may be required to submit bank guarantee covering payment fees of the balance years of the Course
Important dates
Last date for Receipt & Submission of Complete Application Forms : Last date of receipt & Submission of application forms up to 5.00 p.m. on 23 rd September 2013.
Submission of Application with late fee of Rs. 500/- Submission of application form along with late fees will be open Up to 5.00 pm on 30th September 2013.
Distribution of Hall Tickets : Applicant can collect hall ticket from college office at 3rd floor, Dr. D. Y. Patil College of Ayurved & Research Institute, Sector 7, Nerul, Navi Mumbai on 7th October 2013 up to 5.00 pm.
Date and Time of Entrance Test Examination : Thursday, 10th October 2013, 11.30 am to 2.30 pm.
Announcement of Results : 5.00 pm on 21st October 2013.

Admission procedure
Candidates who secure the minimum 50% marks at AIET - AYURVED 2014 and satisfy the eligibility norms laid down by CCIM shall be eligible for admission to BAMS would be offered provisional admission to these on the basis of their interse merit at the time of Counseling.
Note : Admissions will be subject to permission of Dept. of AYUSH, Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Govt. of India, New Delhi.
The Counseling will be carried at 3 rd floor, Dr. D.Y. Patil College of Ayurved & Research Institute, Sector 7, Nerul, Navi Mumbai 400706.
The AIET - AYURVED 2014 merit list shall be a list of the candidates who have secured the minimum of 50% marks in the entrance test. Mere inclusion of a candidate in the merit list would not entitle every candidate to present him / her for counseling.
The counseling of the candidates who are short listed for counseling will be carried out according to the schedule given in following table.
Call Letters will not be sent to the candidates. The physical presence of the candidate at the counseling is essential. If a candidate is unable to present himself / herself for counseling on account of unavoidable circumstances, he /she may authorize another individual to represent him/ her. The said representative must carry with him / her authorization from the candidate in the format given in the prospectus {Annexure -1).
Bring all the original documents for verification and pay the fees immediately if the candidate is found eligible and offered admission.
Absence of the candidate / representative at the indicated time and date will result in instantaneous forfeiture of any claim for admission and the University 
will not be responsible for this.
Candidates will have to attend counseling according to the published merit list. At the time of counseling, the eligibility of the candidates for admission shall be verified from the original documents and those found eligible will be offered provisional admission. 
The admission to the course will be offered on the basis of inter - se - merit of the candidates.
Wednesday 23.10.2013 :
1 to 25 Merit Nos : 10 am to 2 pm.
26 to 50 Merit Nos : 3 pm to 5 pm.
Thursday 24.10.2013 : 
51 to 75 Merit Nos : 10 am to 2 pm.
76 to 100 Merit Nos : 3 pm to 5 pm.
If general category seats remain vacant then against vacancy further eligible candidate will be called for counseling.
Documents to be brought at the time of counseling :
1. S.S.C./Equivalent Examination mark statement & certificate. 
2. H.S.C./Equivalent Examination mark statement & certificate. 
3. Bonafide and character certificate from the Head of Institution last attended. 
4. Leaving / Transfer Certificate from the institute last attended.
5. Nationality Certificate. 
6. Backward class Caste & Cast Verification certificate. (Cast validity certificate is Mandatory).
7. Affidavit in the format as per Annexure 2 Signed by you and countersigned by your parent / guardian 
in the presence of Notary Public on a stamp paper. 
8. Passport (in case of Foreign Nationals / wards of Persons of Indian Origin / Wards of Non Resident 
Indians) and affidavit that fees will be paid from a particular account till the course is completed. This 
affidavit could be given by spouse / Brother / sister / son / daughter in the presence of Notary Public 
on a stamp paper. Annex no.- 5.
9. Physical Fitness certificate from a registered Medical Practitioner as per Annexure 3. 
10. Affidavit as per Annex 2,4,6,7 should be on stamp paper of Rs.100, it is mandatory to each candidate.
Only the candidate and the authorized representative will be allowed in the counseling Hall. Asking a candidate to report for counseling does not mean that he / she will be admitted to the course. The actual admission will depend upon the number of seats available when
his / her turn comes in order of his /her interse-merit. Candidates will have to report for counseling at their own cost.
Candidates selected for admission will have to make payment of fees as mention in Para 12C (Mode of Payment)
The admissions will be offered to the candidates on the basis of their inter- semerit. If a candidate does not wish to take admission to the course offered he / she will be required to give a written submission to that effect in the proforma that will be given to him/her at the counseling stage and he/she will be wait-listed for course he/she desires to get admitted and given a wait-list number. The number of candidates wait listed will be limited.
The Coordinator of AIET - AYURVED 2014 will declare waiting list for course as closed as soon as an adequate number of candidates have been waitlisted for the course.
The wait List will be operated if any vacancy /vacancies arise at a later stage, as a consequence of withdrawal or cancellation of admission of any originally admitted candidates before the last date of admission as specified by the University / CCIM.
Candidates concerned will be informed by the Admission Committee about chances of their admission against vacancy/ vacancies and in that case they will have to report immediately and pay the fees.
