All India Post Graduate Ayurved Entrance Test 2014 (AIPGET - AYURVED 2014) will be conducted for admissions to various Post Graduate Ayurved Courses ( MD/MS, Ayurved Vachaspati / Ayurved Dhanvantari) conducted at Dr. D. Y. Patil College of Ayurved & Research Institute, Nerul, Navi Mumbai 400 706, a constituent college of Padmashree Dr. D.Y. Patil University on 10/10/2013 from 11.30am to 2.30pm.
 
The College was established in Oct. 2004 and is recognized by the Government of Maharashtra, Central Council of Indian Medicine & Dept. of AYUSH, Ministry of Health & family welfare, Govt. of India, New Delhi, UGC & NAAC.
 
The College is associated with a 168-bed teaching hospital in its campus having state of the art facilities for health care and treatment.
 
The Admission Committee of the University will be responsible for conduct of the entrance test, declaration of results, counseling and final admission to the courses.

a ) General Category : 50% seats are reserved for General Category. Admission to this category will be made on the basis of inter-se-merit of the candidates at AIPGET - AYURVED 2013.
 
b) Management Seats : 50% of the seats are reserved for Management quota. Admission to this category will also be made on the basis of inter- se- merit of the candidates at AIPGET  - AYURVED 2013.

 

Eligibility crieteria

The candidate must be an Indian National. Nationality certificate issued by the District Magistrate or Additional District Magistrate or Chief Metropolitan Magistrate / valid passport Shall constitute proof of nationality.
 
The candidate must have passed B.A.M.S. Examination from a CCIM /AYUSH recognized Ayurved college and should have obtained registration either from the Central Council of Indian Medicine, New Delhi / Maharashtra Council of Indian Medicine or Any recognized state council / board after completion of one year rotating Internship training.
 
The candidate undergoing one year rotating internship training and likely to obtain final registration certificate from the Central Council of Indian Medicine New Delhi or Maharashtra Council of Indian Medicine or any of recognized state council / Board on or before 25.10.2013 can also appear for the Entrance Test.
 
Such candidates will be required to submit a certificate from the Principal / Dean of the College regarding the likely date of completion of their rotating internship training failing which their application will be treated as incomplete and shall be rejected.

 

Exam pattern

The AIPGET - AYURVED 2014 will be of three hours duration containing 200 multiple choice questions (MCQs). Questions will be of single best response objective type with four answer options. Each correct answer will be awarded one mark. There shall be no negative marking for incorrect answers.

The Examinations will be conducted in English.

Syllabus : For the Entrance test C.C.I.M., New Delhi approved syllabus of Ayurvedacharya ( B.A.M.S.) will be applicable. The Entrance Test shall be of the standard of B. A. M. S. Examination and shall cover all the subjects of the B.A.M.S. course. The subject wise distribution of MCQs will be as follows.

There is no provision for revaluation of answer book.
 
Note : Admission/s for the PG courses will be subject to permission of Dept. AYUSH, Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Govt. of India for the year 2013-14.
 
Syllabus For Entrance Test : CCIM, New Delhi approved Syllabus of Ayurvedacharya (B.A.M.S.) will be applicable.
How to apply

A Candidate desirous of appearing for All India Post Graduate Ayurved Entrance Test of this University will be required to submit application in the prescribed form along with attested copies of the documents in support of Application. The application can be downloaded from website www.dypayurved.co.in or can be collect from the College office.
 
Entrance Test Fee :
 
The Entrance Test Fee is Rs 3000/-. The fee is payable by demand draft drawn in favor of “ Padmshree Dr. D. Y. Patil University”, C.B.D. Belapur, Navi Mumbai. Drawn on a nationalized / schedule bank, payable at Navi Mumbai or by cash. The Candidate should write his / her name, address & Phone no. on the reverse side of the demand draft.
 
The last date of receipt of completed Application form along with requisite documents and entrance test fee at the 3rd floor, office of Dr. D.Y. Patil College Ayurved & Research Institute building, Sector -7, Nerul, Navi Mumbai up to 5 pm on 23rd September 2013. (with late fee of Rs. 500 up to 30th September 2013 till 5 pm)
 
It will be the responsibility of the candidate to ensure that his / her application reaches the office of the Ayurved College within the Specified time and date. The application received after the due date or not accompanied by entrance test fee/ supporting documents, shall be rejected and such candidates shall not be allowed to appear for the entrance test.
 
The university will not be responsible for non-receipts of applications within the specified time and date due to postal or courier service or any other cause for delays.
 
Hall Ticket : 
 
Hall Tickets carrying photograph of the candidates shall be issued to the candidates who are eligible to appear for the Entrance Test, for this purpose the candidate must submit two copies of recent passport size photograph (not more than three months old) along with the application form. They should write their name on the reverse side of the Photograph. 
 
The Hall Tickets will not be Dispatched to the candidates. The candidates will have to Collect Hall Tickets from the Office, 3rd floor of the Dr.D.Y.Patil College of Ayurved & Research Institute, Nerul, Sector - 7, Navi Mumbai on 07/10/2013. up to 5 pm.
 
The Hall Ticket must be presented in the Examination Hall for verification of candidate’s identity / when instructed by the invigilator to do so and also at the time of counseling. 
 
The Hall Ticket is not transferable.
 
FEE STRUCTURE :
 
For Non Clinical Subjects: (Samhita, Rachana, Kriya, Rasa sashtra) : 

General Seats: Rs. 3,00,000/- Per Annum (Three Lakh only)

Management Seats: Rs. 3,50,000/- Per Annum (Three Lakh fifty Thousand only)

For Clinical Subjects: (Rog Nidan, Swasthvritta, Shalya) :

General Seats: Rs. 4,00,000/- Per Annum (Four Lakh only)

Management Seats: Rs. 4,50,000/- Per Annum (Four Lakh fifty Thousand only)

The tuition fee for the first year will have to be paid in form of D.D. in favour of Dr. D.Y.Patil College of Ayurved & Research Institute, Nerul, Navi mumbai at the time of counseling i.e. 25/10/2013, 11.00 am onwards. Otherwise admission will be automatically treated as cancelled.

The tuition fee for the subsequent years will have to be paid as and when notified by the University / College. The candidate may be required to give a bank guarantee to cover fees of the subsequent years.

The fees once paid are non refundable.

Exam centers
The Entrance Test will be conducted at Dr.D.Y.Patil College of Ayurved & Research Institute, Sector 7, Nerul, Navi Mumbai on 10/10/2013, from 11.30 am to 2.30 pm. 
 
Hall tickets numbers shall be displayed on notice board, 3rd floor at Dr. D.Y.Patil College of Ayurved, Sector-7, Nerul, Navi Mumbai on 07/10/2013. on or before 5 pm.
Admission procedure

Selection Procedure :

The selection of the candidates will be done on the basis of inter-se-merit of the candidates taking into consideration the preference given by the candidate and availability of seat in the branch/discipline of his choice when it is his turn for counseling.

Counselling :

The Counseling of eligible candidates will be on 25th October 2013, 11 am onwards at 3rd floor, Dr. D.Y. Patil College Ayurved & Research Institute building, Sector -7, Nerul, Navi Mumbai.

At the time of counseling the eligibility of the candidates for admission shall be verified from original documents and those found eligible will be offered admission to a course.
 
The candidate will have to appear for Counseling at their own cost.
 
The Physical presence of the candidate at the counseling is essential. Absence of the candidate at the specified time, date and venue
will result in instantaneous forfeiture of any claim for admission and the University will not be responsible for it.
 
Asking a candidate to report for counseling does not mean that he/she will be admitted to the course. The actual admission will depend
upon the course and seat availability when his/ her turn comes in order of his / her inter-se-merit position.
