Announcement :

This is for the information of the General Public and All Eligible students who want to take admission to MBBS /BDS courses in Medical /Dental Colleges (Government / Private) Session 2014. 

The Admission to State Quota (85%) seats will be based on merit in Common Entrance Test i.e. All India Pre-Medical/Pre-Dental Entrance Test - 2014 (AIPMT) to be conducted on 4th May, 2014 by Central Board of Secondary Education. 

NRI students are also required to appear in AIPMT. All seats in every category shall be filled out of the merit list of AIPMT.

Eligibility crieteria

Indian Nationals and Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) are Eligible for appearing in the National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test (NEET-UG)

Eligibility for All India Quota Seats :

He/She has completed age of 17 years at the time of admission or will complete the age on or before 31st December of the year of his/her admission to the 1st year MBBS/BDS Course and is an INDIAN NATIONAL.

The upper age limit for candidates seeking admission under 15% All India Quota Seats is 25 years as on 31st December of the year of the entrance examination. Further provided that this upper age limit shall be relaxed by a period of 5 (five) years for the candidates of Scheduled Castes/ Scheduled Tribes/Other Backward Classes. Candidate must born on or between

(a) 01.01.84 to 01.01.97 (SC/ST/OBC Category)

(b) 01.01.89 to 01.01.97 (Other Category)

Eligibility for State Quota Seats :

He/She has completed age of 17 years at the time of admission or will complete the age on or before 31st December of the year of his/her admission to the 1st year MBBS/BDS Course and is an INDIAN NATIONAL.

Overseas Citizens of India (OCI) are eligible for admission in Medical/Dental Colleges subject to rules and regulations framed by the respective State Governments and the Government of India.

Exam pattern

The Entrance Examination shall consist of one paper containing 180 objective type questions (four options with single correct answer) from Physics, Chemistry and Biology (Botany & Zoology) to be answered on the specially designed machine-gradable sheet using Ball Point Pen only.

(ii) Language of the Question Papers :

All candidates can opt for Question Paper either in English or in Hindi.

Candidates seeking admission under 15% All India quota seats and in AFMC should appear in the examination either in English or Hindi only.

Candidates who have passed/appearing their class XII or equivalent qualifying examination from the State Boards of Andhra Pradesh, Assam, Gujarat, Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu and West Bengal and seeking admission in the institutions located in the State concerned under State Quota seats only can opt for Question Paper in their respective Regional Language i.e. Telugu, Assamese, Gujarati, Marathi, Tamil and Bengali.

Candidates seeking admission under State Quota seats of more than one State should appear in the examination either in English or Hindi only.

Candidates opting for English would be provided Test Booklet in English only and the candidates opting for other languages would be provided Test Booklet in English with translation in the language as per choice of the candidate.

Candidates opting for Question Paper in Regional languages should choose Centre Cities within the geographical limit of the State concerned.

Option of Question Paper should be exercised while filling in the application form and the option once exercised by candidates cannot be changed later.

How to apply

Candidates can apply ONLY ONLINE.

Online submission of application may be made by accessing the Board's website www.cbseneet.nic.in. 

The duration of submission of application form, without late fee and with late fees is given in FEE DETAILS/LAST DATE. Instructions for submitting online application, payment of fee and computer generated printout to be sent to CBSE are available on website.

Candidates may remit the fee in the following manner :

Through Debit / Credit Card/Internet Banking using on-line gateway payment facility, or

Depositing in CBSE Bank Account with Canara Bank or Syndicate Bank directly or depositing in CBSE Account with e-Post Office by downloading the Challan Form from the website of www.cbseneet.nic.in.

Important dates

The Medical council of India and Dental council of India have decided to couduct the NEET by Central Board of Secondary Education CBSE.

Schedule for submission of application forms without late fee : 01.12.2013 to  31.12.2013
 
Date of receipt of confirmation page in CBSE : 10.01.2014
 
Schedule for submission of online application forms with late fee Rs.1000/- : 01.01.2014 to  31.01.2014
 
Date of receipt of confirmation page in CBSE for the applications submitted late with fee of Rs.1000/- : 05.02.2014
 
The National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test for Medical and Dental (MBBS and BDS) admission 2014 will be counducted on : 4th May 2014, Sunday.

 

Admission procedure

The University of Delhi, Faculty of Medical Sciences shall utilize the marks/merit of NEET (UG)-2014 for admission to MBBS/BDS courses under 85% quota for the Session-2014. 

Eligible candidates must also apply in prescribed application form to the Faculty of Medical Sciences, University of Delhi, Delhi-110007. This form shall be available in the Faculty of Medical Sciences from 1 st week of May, 2014. 
 
The concerned candidates are advised to visit the website of CBSE www.cbseneet.nic.in.

In case of two or more candidates obtain equal marks in the DUMET, the inter-se-ranking of such candidates shall be determined in the following order of preference : The candidates who have obtained higher marks in Botany & Zoology in the DUMET.

The candidates who have obtained higher marks in Chemistry in the DUMET.

The candidates who are older in age.

sir, i have not register myself in neet delhi state quota..... my second state preference for neet was delhi.... my neet all india rank is 46,464 and delhi rank around 5831.... do i have any chances to register ...... sir plzz suggest me .....
