Maharashtra Post Graduate Medical Post Graduate Dental Combined Entrance Test MH PGM PGD CET 2014 is conducted for providing admission to the eligible candidates into Post graduate courses of the associated institutes. A large number of candidates appear for Maharashtra PGM PGD CET Entrance Exam from all across the state of Maharashtra.

Eligibility crieteria

Educational Qualification :

To apply for this Medical PG Entrance Exam, the aspiring candidate must have done M.B.B.S. / B.D.S. from an institute recognized by Medical Council of India / Dental Council of India.

However, the candidates who will complete their internship before 31st March of the respective year can also apply.

Other Eligibility Condition for taking MH PGM PGD CET :

Eligibility for PGM CET :

A candidate must be an Indian National.

Eligibility for In-service candidates will be as per criteria laid down by the Public Health Department for M.M. & H.S. Medical Officer candidates and E.S.I.S. candidates; and Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation for BMC candidates.

The candidates who are domiciled in Maharashtra and who have obtained admission under 15% quota for All India Entrance Examination (AIEE) for MBBS course and who have obtained the degree from a University situated outside the State of Maharashtra will also be eligible for PGM-CET.

The candidate who has obtained MBBS degree from a Deemed University is not eligible to appear for PGM-CET.

Eligibility for PGD CET :

A candidate must be an Indian National.

A candidate who has obtained BDS Degree before introduction of one year compulsory rotating internship training, i.e. on or before 1989, will also be eligible to appear for PGD-CET.

A Candidate who has obtained BDS degree from a Deemed University is not eligible to appear for PGD-CET.

A candidate should have obtained DCI/MSDC registration by the date of Preference Form filling process.

The candidates who were admitted to the colleges/institutions which are now affiliated to the Maharashtra University of Health Sciences (MUHS) will be eligible till such time as they are awarded the degrees by the University established under Maharashtra Universities Act, 1994.

Candidates who are domiciled in Maharashtra and who have obtained admission under 15% quota for All India Entrance Examination (AIEE) for BDS course and who have obtained the degree from a university situated outside the State of Maharashtra will also be eligible for PGD-CET.

Exam pattern

PGM PGD CET consists of objective type multiple choice questions of the relevant subjects.

MH PGM PGD CET Exam Syllabus :

The syllabus of this Post Graduate Medical Entrance Examination consists of questions from the subject studied in the respective Under graduates classes by the aspiring student.

How to apply

Candidates can apply by getting the application form along with the Information Brochure of PGM-CET or PGD-CET by paying an Examination fee of Rs.1800 to be payable by Demand Draft / Pay Order drawn on any Nationalized or Scheduled commercial Bank in favor of Director, Medical Education and Research, Mumbai payable at Mumbai.

MH PGM CET 2014 will be Conducted on : 5th January, 2014 (Sunday) 10.00 am to 1.30 pm

MH PGM CET 2014 Online Application from will be available on DMER website : 28th November, 2013 (11.00 am) to 12th December, 2013 (5.00 pm)

MH PGM CET 2014 Admit cards will be Download : 30th December, 2013 to 4th January, 2014

MH PGM CET 2014 Results Date : Third week of March, 2014

I have completed my education in karnataka . MBBS from RGUHS Karnataka... My mother is basically from Maharashtra and completed her education from Maharashtra. ? I am interested to do my postgraduation from Maharashtra , so am I eligible?
